Re: Moodle/Wordpress

Hello, Lisa,

There are a few different ways of looking at this, and the nature of the integration would be best informed by goals you want to accomplish --

For example, if you are looking for a lightweight integration b/w the two, you could, for example, have a WPMU blog created for every user in your Moodle site, and have that WPMU blog populated with categories from their specific classes.

Given that both WPMU and Moodle can authenticate against LDAP, the main requirement here would be the script that automated the creation of the WPMU blogs based on membership within Moodle (or based on a specific role within an LDAP directory).

If you wanted to get into moving content between the two, then you'd need to make some specific choices about what content/activities could be transported between the two sites.

Feel free to ping back with additional questions/info.

Cheers,

Bill
