Re: QUERY- Middle School Final Exams

Because assessment techniques should vary, each of our teachers designs a
"final" experience for each group in a way that works for that group. Some
are exams, some are final projects or presentations, some essays that are
written during the final time periods but with outlines worked on prior to the
period.

We used to send the students home in the afternoon to study and relax, but
since most families did not want that and since the time was not always used
well, we now make going home optional and most afternoons during the finals
days are either light arts classes, PE, or study halls.
