University School, Biology Opening

Biology position

University School, an independent boy's K-12 day school on two campuses in
Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a biology teacher for an Upper School position
for the 2009-10 school year.

The Upper School is situated on 220 wooded acres with a trout hatchery, a
maple sugaring program, and a lake for field work. US is seeking a candidate
who wishes to teach biology and immerse him or herself in the opportunities
this situation offers. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in
biology, 3+ years of experience teaching at the high school or college
level, a passion for working with students and colleagues doing outdoor
projects and field work, and an interest in eventually managing the school's
student-run trout hatchery and maple syrup production.

This position offers additional summer opportunities to teach a field
biology course and to conduct field work with students.
