Re: Apple MacBooks and Cisco wireless

In order to authethicate to AD or OD MacBook needs to establish connectio=
n with the server before login.
When on login screen click on space when you normally see date, or serial=
number (you might have to make multiple clicks). If you see that "Networ=
k accounts are not available" the I would say that you definitely have pr=
oblem with connectivity via wireless.

Possible solution:
- If your are using network account consider switching to mobile account =
(mobile account will allow user to login even when server is not availabl=
e during login process) . If you are 1to1 program just stay with mobile a=
ccounts. If multiple people use the computer you might set up xserve(if y=
ou are using it) to clear mobil account from laptops after let's say 5 da=
ys in order to avoid clogging the HD with multiple user accounts.
