Re: Parent/Teacher conference calendars?

Well, I don't know that it *has* happened, but it's just one of those
questions I've been sort of trained to ask when it comes to designing
"self-serve" systems.

But let me rephrase the question: Are there any protections there to prevent
the Smiths, or anyone else, from *accidentally* deleting or writing over
appointments that the Joneses have already made? And if so, is this done in
such a way that the Joneses themselves can change their mind, and delete an
appointment that they've already made?

Also, what happens if two families try to sign up for the same timeslot at
the same time? Is there some mechanism to prevent two people from accessing
the same cell simultaneously?
