grades 4 and up to have Internet access at home.
Our keyboarding program is online and a homework-based program starting
in 4th grade. Most homework assignments require computer use (word
processing, spreadsheets) and Internet use (primarily accessing teacher
webpages for links and other information).
For filtering, I believe that a human filter (aka parent supervision)
works the best. =20
All support from home is done via email to me. They know it is not
immediate, but I do my best to get back to them within a few hours if I
get an email before 8 p.m. at night. =20
