adults over questions of human nature of late, and there in that missive
stood Thomas Hobbes, shrugging his shoulders as the Smiths showed
themselves to be self-centered, nasty, and brutish in their treatment of
the Joneses (and the school).
I'm much happier thinking of the Smiths as just technologically inept.
Why, they could even be--me.
