Re: Examples of 21st Century Skills based projects

Lots of examples in my presentation on The Right-Brained Future:
Creating 21st C. Schools.

Instructions to Schools/Associations Booking PFB for Keynotes and
Workshops.=20

* The Right-Brained Future
Bassett will present a keynote or workshop on the theme of
"right-brained" creativity, rooted in ideas from Daniel Pink's book A
Whole New Mind, exploring the implications for teaching and learning in
21st. C. schools. He will examine the six core competencies of our
right-brained future and illustrate exercises related to each: design;
story; symphony; empathy; play; meaning. The generative question to be
addressed: What will be the skills and values that the 21st. C. will
demand and reward, and how will independent schools teach them?

Subject: Examples of 21st Century Skills based projects

Hi experts!

I am putting together a presentation on 21st Century Skills based on the
Framework for 21st Century Skills
(http://www.21stcenturyskills.org/route21/). The audience is a large
urban school district.

I am looking for classroom projects that focus on the development of:

Life & Career Skills
Learning and Innovation Skills
Information Media and Technology Skills

I would also love to hear about professional development or assessments
focused on 21st Century Skills.

Would anyone be willing to share stories with me? If you have stories,
please include any artifacts (if available). In exchange for your
kindness I offer the link to the video of me jamming out to the Jackson
5 while driving my car!

Thanks everyone!!!

Alex
