E-Signatures for Re-enrollment Contracts

Last year we moved our re-enrollment and enrollment contract process
online. It went very well, and all parents, new and returning, completed
the contract online. We printed 50 contracts just in case but no family
asked for a paper version.

Last year, we had the parent 'sign' the contract electronically. After we
received the deposit, we printed out a paper copy which was then signed by
our CFO and mailed back to the parent. This year we are going to
eliminate this last step and have our school electronically sign the
contract and post it in the parent's file on our intranet.

Although we have received legal advice about electronic signatures, we
would like to hear from any school who is using electronic signatures in
any capacity to see if they have any concerns about the legality of
e-signatures or concerns from parents.

Thanks in advance for your input.
