Re: Redundant Internet Connection

Henry,

I would cut through the middlemen and go to Verizon Business direct. We had
a T1 from UUNet that then became MCI that then became Verizon Business after
all the consolidation. We are moving to a a dual T1 in the next few weeks
but I have been happy with their service and it is not that bad from a
pricing standpoint. We have labs and more download-only connections routing
out on a different connection (Comcast cable).

Verizon Business calls this connection a 2xT1 IDA.

I have also been happy with AT&T T1s (prior to the SBC/ATT reassemble),
SpeakEasy (which is now owned by Best Buy and using XO as an upstream
provider).
