Re: Alert Now

We have been using it for a year and it has been=A0great.=A0 Only tech comp=
laint is that it could not be easily integrated with a home-grown SIS (not =
a surprise and realy an issue with the SIS).=A0 Only complaint from parents=
is that it starts the message as soon as the phone picks up so the longer =
your answering machine message, the more of the message you miss.=A0 We put=
in a longer pre-amble in the script (stock info before each message about =
the school and who is calling) and that seems to have taken care of it.=A0 =
For us it seemed to have the best mix of features to be used as an emergenc=
y and non-emergency contact system.=A0 We evaluated all the systems on the =
School Computing Wiki and Alert Now came out on top.=0A=A0=0A_J____________=
