Re: Redundant Internet Connection

Hi Henry,

We have an expensive T1 for our server VLAN and then all other VLANs access
the internet via an inexpensive asymmetric connection via either a cable
modem or a DSL line. I transparently route all http traffic through a proxy
server which also gives a good performance boost. As 90% of the end user
traffic is asymmetric in nature, these cheaper bandwidth providers are
perfect for our needs.
