ISED_lL Intro New Administrator

Hi Everyone,
This is my first listserv experience as a new administrator at The San
Francisco Friends School. Im hoping to connect with other lower school deans
regarding three main issues this year.
First, we are involved in an intense retraining and thinking of the
coherence of our math program. We have been using TERC Investigations, will
likely continue to do so for a long time, and are about to have a TERC rep
come to do a training to begin this work as we explore the ways we use the
curriculum.
Second is that Im looking forward to a challenging process of changing our
report cards and assessment tools over the next year or two. Im not sure how
to start that process. As a new administrator with staff of varied
experiences and feelings about the old report cards, how might we best begin
that conversation productively. Id also love to hear if anyone has
experiences using report cards that reflect a more continuous process, or
developmental continua that work well as report cards, or some other way to
link developmental learning and standards and documentation software to
create the perfect report of what we teach!
And lastly, for now, there are various thoughts of "mapping" our curriculum.
I have used Atlas type software before, but only just began that process
with a school. Im not sure how it progresses in a school. If you like it,
let me know why. If you use something else, Id love to know what.
That is a lot, but that is my intro to what Im working on right now. Would
love any feedback about any of these topics.
Thanks,
