Re: Whipplehill vs FinalSite

I am the Director of Technology at Webb School of Knoxville and we have
been with Whipplehill for about 6 years now. We looked at many content
management systems before we went with Whipplehill and deciding to work
with Whipplehill was by far the best decision we could have made. The
quote they gave us for the web design was exactly what we paid. They gave
us a scope of work and created a timeline for the job that they followed
to the letter. Their designers were extremely helpful and worked with us
to create the look and function that we wanted and needed.

We started with a web site and online communities but have since added the
Student Information System as well. Whipplehill offers a complete
communications platform not just a home page and web site. The site that
Whipplehill helped us create is used to communicate with all our different
constituencies in the ways that we need to for that group. Things like
getting info out to perspective parents, reunion information to alumni,
class schedules and homework assignments to parents and students, or
letting a faculty member send a progress report to a parent.

As I work with Whipplehill, I continue to see their commitment to not only
support my school's needs , but to continually develop their product to
the fullest extent possible. Quite honestly, if all you want it someone
to design a home page and a web site for you and a simple content
management system, there are lots of companys that can do that limited job
for you and do it well. However, if you want something that will go way
beyond a basic web site and really help your school to communicate better
in any number of ways, I have no hesitation at all recommending
Whipplehill.

I would be happy to discuss this in more depth if anyone would like
further information
