John Seely Brown and the Zeitgeist

I'm going to go out on a limb a bit here and say that John Seely Brown is
channeling the zeitgeist. (He might prefer 'surfing the zeitgeist.')

For those of you not familiar with the word zeitgeist, it means the spirit
of the times. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeitgeist

It may be just the edtech echo chamber I'm calling the zeitgeist, but in any
case, Brown seems to be bringing together and weaving into a coherent
tapestry many of the ideas about pedagogy and technology that a lot of us
have been thinking about for most of this year.

Brown's recent talk at MIT titled "Blended Learning Revisited" provides a
good overview of his thinking.
