Re: Learning Management Systems - Moodle or Sakai?

Hi Vi,

I have used Sakai and Moodle in different contexts and have little positive
to say about Sakai. Moodle is by far a better LMS in terms of navigation and
integration of other apps. The noted Canadian blogger, Stephen Downes, has
called Sakai "user-hostile" - and I agree.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend a vendor, although I would consider running
Moodle locally if you can spare the resources to customize the environment
to your preferences and needs.
