Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators, Conference in Toron

Opening The Doors to Excellence In MultiSensory Teaching:
The Orton-Gillingham Approach

AN INVITATION FROM THE ACADEMY

On behalf of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and
Educators Board of Directors, I am pleased to invite you
to our annual Spring Conference. This year, we are going north to
Havergal College in Toronto, Canada! We always
look forward to seeing our members, whether they be from Canada, the
U.S., or other parts of the world, and this time
we hope to meet and make additional friends: tutors, teachers,
administrators, parents, and other individuals who are
interested in learning about the Orton-Gillingham Approach.

Conference sessions will focus on our theme: Opening The Doors To
Excellence in Multisensory Teaching: The Orton-
Gillingham Approach. We are excited to have not one but two excellent
keynote speakers. There will be sessions
dealing with math, writing, phonology, vocabulary, and comprehension,
along with workshops for parents, teaching
demonstrations, and many other informative opportunities.

We are proud to say that the Academy, in its fifteenth year, is
vibrant and growing. We hope that you will join us in
Toronto on April 23 and 24 for an informative, enriching educational
experience.
