Re: Thoughts on the new iPad...What are yours?

I can see a system like the iPad revolutionizing education...but not =
without a lot of help.

Here is my list of what I think a device like the iPad needs to have for =
education:

At least one USB port
Expandable memory
Multitasking - no duh!
Ability to install any compatible apps I want
Built in Microphone (or an audio-in port to use an external one)
Ability to beam a document out to multiple units at one time, and =
ability to beam multiple documents to a single unit. (I had a Palm 8 =
years ago that could do this. It has all but disappeared on recent =
portable devices.)
Ability to browse the web as easily as if I was on a laptop or desktop
A built in app that allows you to write over any other application =
(highlighting, adding notes, etc.) - (Okay, this is one thing you can do =
on the iPad!)
6-hour battery life (another thing the iPad can do)
Able to create and deploy images
Sturdy
Price point of $500

What is on your list of what an iPad should have?
