ESL charges

Just to clarify what I meant by ESL charges: at our school of day
and boarding students where about 23% are international, the only ESL
classes we offer are for English. Students usually take an ESL class
for 1 or 2 years and then are mainstreamed into a regular English
class (although perhaps a grade level below). Then in the junior and
senior years when the English classes offered here are AP only, the
designation on ESL transcripts are usually just junior English, or
English 11 rather than AP English Literature. The students are
charged a fee for any ESL only class that they take (so just for a
year or two) in addition to the regular tuition (approximately 11-12%
of the tuition is what the fee works out to). When you respond to my
question about your charges, could you also indicate what that
covers--that is is it an English class or an entire curriculum or
something else. Thanks, Karen
