Re: Sales of textbooks to students - emerging trend?

We are a N-12 independent day school where most students are eligible for textbooks through their school districts. A good part of the textbook distribution (80%) is done through a centralized system that is now our responsibility to manage. The other
20% of the student body gets their books through their local school districts. Some families still buy books through our school store or through Amazon but the numbers are fewer and fewer each year. The textbook distribution process here at school is
labor intensive but a tremendous service to our families. Because of the cost of textbooks these days, most parents have moved away from purchasing books and take advantage of the opportunity to borrow books.
