Hi!

When I was at Pine Cobble School, that's exactly what we did, for exactly
those reasons.

At my current school (7-12), we might have a prospective 8th grader visit
the 7th grade only if she applies near the end of the year, the idea being
that at that point in time it would be more valuable to her to meet her
future classmates rather than see the exact courses she would be taking if
she enrolls. I could see that applying in your case as well.
