I simply didn't like the screen size when it came to making the browser
window fit all the necessary information for the student on one screen.
I went with Acer Aspire 5532, refurbished for under $500.

We are experimenting with them at the 4th grade level with good success
although at times the wireless connection may wane. We are a 1:1 school
6-12 and looking for a lighter more portable solution for grades 3
through 5. We are not sure if the answer is netbooks, or if the answer
is IPads or something like it.
