I received a call tonight, from a friend, regarding a woman who needs some
help.
In the past year the woman in need left an abusive husband,
lived in a battered women=92s shelter until her time-limit was reached and
then became a homeless person. She now is living in her own apartment and
working as a nurse=92s aid.
The person who called me has obtained grants to help this woman pay for an
LPN program she is beginning quite soon.
In addition to these circumstances, this woman is the primary caretaker for
her developmentally delayed/impaired 13-year-old daughter.
My friend believes that this woman is going to succeed and begin her life
again.
What this woman now desperately needs is a reliable computer and a working
printer--- and soon.
So=85if you have any ideas or appropriate equipment, please let me know.
We are located in North Jersey and the woman in need is in the Montclair
area.
