Re: Scanning Paper Documents to Electronic PDF's

Hi Bud,

Perhaps not quite fitting the bill of "...store them in a secure folder on =
a share-point using a a Mac computer...", the Xerox C2424 has been serving =
us well in the Technology department for several years now. It allows scan=
s to be stored on its internal hard drive for users to pick scans up secure=
ly or publicly. It is very easy to manage and can be set to dump its conte=
nts periodically. It allows the user to go to its website and download in =
several formats.

Cheers,
m

Good Morning All,

I am looking for recommendations of a scanner/copier/printer that will scan
documents to PDF format and store them in a secure folder on a share-point
using a Mac computer on a Mac server network.

My school is leasing Ricoh copier/scanners and the sales man told our
support staff and administration that this could be done, but two "experts"
from the company have visited, but can't seem to make it happen.

Any solutions or vendor recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
*Bud*
