Re: OpenOffice: Beyond the Cost Savings

Hi!

While my school still uses MS Office, I chose to go the Open Office
route when my computer had a catastrophic crash about a year ago. I'm
one of those people who doesn't use more than a small fraction of the
functions offered by word processors or spreadsheets, and was
attracted both by the price and by what I believe (could be a mistaken
impression) to be its ability to load quickly. Other than not liking
to deal with .docx documents (and thanks for your suggestions!), Open
Office does everything I want it to.
