If you go to Google Books on the web, you can view a very large number of
electronic books or ebooks and draw your own conclusions regarding the
differences from seeing a book and its full contents or full text on the
computer as opposed to holding the book in your hand in print.

Here is the article on Ebooks from the Wikipedia

An e-book (for electronic book: also ebook: also ecobook) is the digital media
equivalent of a conventional printed book. Such documents are usually read on
personal computers, or on dedicated hardware devices known as e-book readers or
e-book devices.

An e-book is a specialized type of e-text.

In Google Books you can search words and combinations of words just as in the
Google web search engine to find books containing content that meets your
search criteria.

This group of books will take the user of this URL to a group of books that
respond in content to a search of the phrases global warming and light rail.
