Re: Does a live operator answer your school phone?

We have a live operator during normal business hours. If they are away =
for an extended period of time, then the President's secretary fills in or =
they place the switchboard in "night mode". We chose to do this for the =
same reason that Fred did, the personal touch. A neighboring school tried =
to go the automated attendant route and caught all kinds of flack from the =
alumni so they went back to a live person.
