Re: technology courses

We are affiliated with a pretty interesting program with a
technology-design-innovation focus called NuVu Studio. It was started by
some MIT grad school and Media Lab folks in conjunction with faculty and
others at Harvard and MIT. You can read about it at www.nuvustudio.org --be
sure to check out the blog!

Right now we have 20 kids, grades 10-12, over there full time for this
trimester; we have 20 more signed up for each of trimesters 2 and 3. Any
student in good academic standing can elect to participate, on a
space-available basis; we bear the program cost and grant credit as we would
for any term-away program. The affiliation is pretty tight, and you can read
more about that part at www.bcdschool.org/nuvu

It sort of takes technology to a whole new level, all in the context of
design and real-world technical and social problems and social issues.
