Re: Questions about Laptop/Tablet programs

Hi Marty -

Our program, which is new this year, starts at grade 6. We have a very
different model than most schools, and it is based on the long-time
experience of a neighboring school, Harker.

In our model, families purchase their own computers. This takes us out of
the laptop ownership, leasing, imaging, and repairing business. It does
represent a different set of challenges regarding security and teaching to
the skill rather than teaching to the app. So far this is working quite well
for us.

For students on financial aid, we provide them with a laptop.
