Re: Parents Visiting Day

In our middle school, we run a normal schedule and invite parents to sit in
on our classes. We add extra chairs to accomodate for them. Some teachers
plan interactive lessons to involve parents, but it is not a requirement.
During lunch time, we run some facilitated parent sessions on a variety of
topics (homework, understanding ERB scores, etc.)

We have a Grandparent's day with a more structured schedule that has them
going to 3 or 4 classes and then a brunch with a program of student
presentations (e.g. choir, band, etc.)
