Re: Fip Video Cameras

We just bought some last year, and they were pretty poplular. Small and aff=
ordable, it might be helpful to have a tripod or 2 for steadiness. That sai=
d, easy to use. Comes with its own software for editing and /or can be edit=
ed on movie maker. One thing about the HD- we had trouble with that as it c=
reates an different type of file than regular.
Kids loved it and took to it right away. @ about $140 each, you can't go w=
rong

Subject: Fip Video Cameras

We are looking at purchasing some new video cameras and someone brought up
the Flip Camera. What is the quality of the video and is the format
compatible with Windows Movie Maker? Thoughts about which model to
purchase? Would we be better off with traditional video cameras? We would
not be posting to YouTube; the cameras would be used by classroom
teachers, tutors and most likely students.
Thanks for your thoughts.
