Re: social bookmarking and Flip Video

Good morning,
We are very happy with the Flip Video cameras we have. They easily take an
hour of video and the quality is amazing for the price. Our 4th graders took
to the software and editing without instruction.

Having used both Delicious and Diigo with various faculty this past year,
Diigo seems as if it is more robust for use within faculty. Not only does it
allow both "sticky notes: and highlighting, you can set up groups that would
allow whole group or small group dissemination of any bookmark. I have
experiemented with the education portion for a class that I am teaching this
summer. Since it keeps bookmarks private and visible only to members of the
group, when used with the toolbar that is optionally installed, it seems
ideal for use with students of a particular class.
