Summit School, a Junior Kindergarten through Ninth Grade independent, =20=

coeducational, non-sectarian day school of nearly 600 students located =20=

in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, seeks to hire a Head of Upper School =20=

(grades six through nine) to lead a dynamic faculty and work =20
collaboratively with the senior administrative team under the =20
direction of the Head of School. The Head of Upper School has full =20
responsibility for the oversight and daily operation of the newly =20
configured Upper School, which provides a coeducational learning =20
environment for 200 students in grades six through nine. Our =20
curriculum and methods are intentionally designed to ignite the =20
interests and challenge the abilities of young adolescents.

Founded in 1933 as the Piedmont Triad area=92s first independent day =20
school, Summit is committed to providing a challenging curriculum =20
within a caring environment to help students develop their full =20
