Re: Programming Curriculum in Middle School

I teach middle school computers. We introduce programming in 6th grade =
using Scratch. If students want to take programming as an elective in 7th =
and 8th grade, we use GameMaker. Both are excellent introductions to =
programming -- they're both visual and (on a level they don't yet get) =
object-oriented. GameMaker, however, is only available for PC.
