Re: Jacob Smith posts

Mr. Smith,

This forum for the needs and interests of the independent school community. It is a vehicle for faculty, staff, and administrators to seek advice, to establish new friendships, to locate collaborators for online and offline projects, and to post conference, employment, and other announcements.

You have posted three posts this week which 1. simply point to your blog and 2. ask questions antagonistic to independent schools (are they worth it, do they prevent folks from leaving), and thus seem meant to provoke an angry response.

This last post to which I reply contains personal attacks. Harker school is a well respected K-12 independent school in San Jose that has been around over a century and their website works fine. And J Gaston is on their faculty and has made several constructive posts to this board.

Our school has a P. O. Box address because it is in development and not yet open, as many on this board recall, because I have posted here for advice before. Our website is likewise in development.

Kim, Why do you have a PO box address under your
school name? why do the links to forms don't work.
Please do not make such comments as they were not
appropriate. If you want to get involved and
contribute, please go to my blog and participate. This
is all in a good spirit and hope you will understand.
