Re: Help with Apple Leopard OS

Thank you all for your wonderful suggestions. It is a great tool to be able to ask a question here at ISED and to get such quick, thoughtful and knowledgeable answers. As it turned out, all of the MacBooks after October that came with Leopard pre-installed also have a new chipset, the SantaRosa chip. This machine cannot use the Tiger image. So, we have two choices: 1. run Leopard on the new machines even though most of our older educational software won't run on it. 2. convince parents to purchase pre-october 26 MacBooks with Tiger preinstalled, at the same price,

At least we got the answers, maybe not a total solution.
