at The Montclair Kimberley Academy Pre-K-12 independent school in =
Montclair, NJ. Based on three campuses, MKA has a newly launched 1:1 =
laptop program in grades 4-12 and a long-standing tradition of =
integrating technology into the curriculum.
The Director of Educational Technology reports directly to the =
Headmaster, and is a member of both the core tri-campus administrative =
team and the tri-campus curricular team. The Director of Educational =
Technology works closely with the Director of Curriculum and =
Professional Development and with the Director of Technology in =
promoting and advancing the effective integration of technology in the =
curriculum, and has an additional role as the Middle School (grades 4-8) =
Technology Coordinator, working as a member of the Information =
Technology Department handling basic trouble-shooting in the Middle =
School Tech Center. The Director of Educational Technology is =
responsible for running the Educational Technology team and co-leading =
the 1:1 Laptop Implementation Committee.
