Institute Coordinator Job Description
The GYLI Institute Coordinator will work with 1-2 other staff to help keep
things safe and real, and he or she will be the team member who will help to
deliver the established GYLI curriculum. Coordinators may have a specific
focus area in part of the curriculum but will be well versed in the overall
mission and vision of GYLI. Coordinators must work closely with Institute
Directors and staff, as well as speakers, local site personnel, and others,
to prepare in advance for each institute, and to ensure smooth delivery of
the program during the Institute.
Pre requisites:
o Current first aid CPR certification
o Strong facilitation skills
o Strong communication skills
o Strong support of the GYLI vision and mission
Pay
o Based on past outdoor/leadership experience
o $150-250 per day
