It depends on the quality that you want to have. An iPod or iRiver 10 feet out from the stage could work on the inexpensive end. You could also dangle expensive microphones from your theater ceiling. It just depends on the quality/cost you decide
upon. Both could be recorded using a PC or Mac and Audacity or GarageBand.
