Progress Report Software suggestions?

We are looking for a simple/quick/inexpensive solution to a problem that we are having- does anyone have any suggestions for an online progress report solution? We are looking for a temporary solution since the database we are looking to implement will
have this availability. Our current database will not allow for the standards based approach to grading that we have implemented and we need a way (a band-aid of sorts) for teachers to do their comments and export into a printable progress report.
Please let me know how your school has addressed this and what solutions you might recommend.
