Requirements for Using Your Own Laptop
If you choose to provide your own laptop, please consider the following information before making that decision.
Note: There is a required yearly fee of $150.00 (details below) for students using their own laptop.
Minimum Hardware / Software Requirements:
• Processor / Speed: Intel Petium-M / 1.5 GHz
• Memory: 512 MB
• Hard Drive: 20 GB
• Network: Internal Wireless 802.11b/g
• Software (provided by Lausanne and included in $150.00 fee):
o Latest Microsoft Office Pro Suite
o Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition
o First Class E-mail Client
Please note: Because of licensing requirements, all software provided by Lausanne must be removed when the student leaves Lausanne.
Other Information:
• No repairs will be made to laptops purchased through sources other than Lausanne
• A loaner will be provided to your child (included in $150.00 fee) if his / her laptop is not operational for any period of time. Loaners kept longer than two weeks incur a daily rental charge of $20.00
