Reply: : best new Web 2.0 tool for classroom

Lucy

I'm curious to know why you would not recommend Ning for classroom use ...
it is the only web 2.0 social network site that I know can be completely
locked down so only your class can enter ... hence safe.

What am I missed.... would be grateful to know.

Many thanks

I wouldn't recommend Ning for classroom use just yet, but I think it's a
great tool for professional development. Ning allows you to create your own
public or private social network. For a list of recommended ones, check out
my recent

I particularly recommend Steve Hargadon's Classroom 2.0
ning<http://classroom20.ning.com>.
