onference community and it is still growing. There were over 730 page views=
last week with the majority exploring the list of community bloggers and t=
he community home page. It is clear that this is of great interest to the c=
ommunity. You can read any of the blogs listed simply by going to the commu=
nity page and clicking on the link to your favorite blogger. I have also cr=
eated aggregated links that you can place into your favorite RSS reader. Th=
ese links will allow you to monitor almost all of the posted blogs from a s=
ingle reader. This way, it will be easy for you to know where the new conte=
nt is saving you time as you explore the wisdom of this group.
As this community is formed around the NAIS Annual Conference which kicks o=
ff next week in San Francisco, I will be posting something I am calling =93=
The Daily Find<http://naisac10.wordpress.com/2010/02/15/the-daily-find-feb-=
15-2010/>=94. This is a small collection of blogs from the community that a=
re being brought to your attention. You will find a short description with =
a link to the original post. These will generally focus on events and ideas=
leading up to and through the conference. These may be directly related to=
the conference or more generally related to topics that would be of intere=
st to those attending and following from a distance.
This is all a part of the NAIS Annual Conference Community site and we invi=
te you to join in the conversation. Feel free to comment on the main commun=
ity blog site as well as through the NAIS Facebook page, Twitter, and Diigo=
. There is a little something for everyone. Remember, you can monitor the e=
ntire community through the community dashboard. You will find links below =
to all of these features. There is a lot here so don=92t let this over-whel=
m you. Simply start with one or two community places at first. At any rate,=
you should bookmark the community dashboard as one of your favorites. This=
is a unique opportunity to participate in distributed community that utili=
zes many different types of communicative tools.
We look forward to meeting you online and for those who can make it, in San=
Francisco.
