As we continue to buy projectors for our classrooms, a discussion came up
about projectors vs. LCD TVs. If the point of the projector is to display
what is on the computer, then would an LCD TV mounted on the wall achieve
the same effect of the mounted projector + screen?
I know there are pros and cons for both (size of the display, connectivity,
etc ), but I am just wondering if anyone has been heading this direction?
Years ago there was a push to get TVs in the classroom, then we moved to the
projectors - are we now heading back to TVs or are projectors here to stay?
Wondering if there are other schools out there that have debated this and
the conclusion you came to? If you are using LCDs, could you please give
some info on the unit?
