Subject: Website Blocker

I was wondering if anyone is using something on their network to block
specific websites both to the entire network as well as to specific
users?

I am not looking for a content filter, I just want to be able block
certain sites on my entire campus and block other sites to specific
users. I have tried putting in dns entries, but I had some problems
with entries becoming corrupt.

Even more ideal, would be a way to block sites during certain times of
the day. For example, my teachers and administrators want to use
Facebook, but I only want them to have access when our network is not
needed by students so before 8 a.m. and after 3 p.m. But...the time
thing would just be a plus.
