You bring up an interesting point. What's the fan noise like? One of the
reasons we wanted to avoid the attached, ultar-short throw projectors was
the fan noise, which on the attached arms, brings the projector right down
into the middle of things. Having it ceiling mounted 5 or 6 feet away is
better, but our classrooms run on the smaller size with little space for
sound to be absorbed.
B and H has the NEC NP550WS which lists the fan noise as 29 db in ECO mode.
I'm assuming that's not a mode you use very often - what are they like when
running at full power?
