Re: Typing software recommendations?

We had the same issues with Type to Learn 4. We now have Typing Pal and =
are very happy with it. Very reasonable price and the kids enjoy it.

=20
We have had nothing but headaches from Type To Learn 4. We moved to =20
it after using TTL3 for quite a few years, but then had MacIntel =20
problems with the program quitting unexpectedly and other small =20
errors. We have had the program since it came out and have never had =20
ti fully functioning. We spent much of the year wither trying to get =20
a hold of support or talking to one person in support not willing to =20
give us much help and going as far as evading our phone calls. We =20
finally decided to give it one more try this year with the updates =20
they had posted and still no luck having it run successfully. This =20
time we went back to the vendor for assistance and as we suspected, he =20
to had no luck in obtaining any answers or true support for our issue.

It is sad that we feel like we wasted such a good chunk of money on =20
upgrading, but have learned our lesson and also turned us off on a =20
company that I used to know as a stellar provider of educational =20
software. In the past 20 plus years I have used many Sunburst products =20
and never been as disappointed as we have been with this latest =20
version of TTL. So we are moving beyond that and going with Typing =20
Pal. It is good to hear that others are finding this successful. I =20
really like the idea of the true online access, where students can =20
extend their learning beyond time in the classroom.
