Re: RSS Feeds

Yes, on our teacher blog pages. Faculty are now buying in to how easy it is
to repurpose content they already have. I would say more prospective
parents (younger) use the RSS feed feature, but our own folks are catching
on now.

The real issue is educating parents to use them, set up reader pages etc.
And showing how much easier managing-as *you *want to receive it- lots of
info produced in different areas of the school can be. Middle School kids
know how to use them tot rack homework in a mroe centralized way! A few
tech savvy kids will be on hand at a new parent event to get adults set up
in the tech lab-also on Twitter and FB Fan pages if they'd like. Getting
parents in leadership and board roles to understand and *use t*hese free
tools is a current goal for the staff. We got everyone on Google Calendar
two years ago, and now use Google Docs for conference sign ups etc. So RSS
feeds are next!

The more teachers post, the more traffic goes to those pages. Does anyone
know if having folks just get a feed would actually lower traffic?
