correctly as: "Does your upper school curriculum include technology
and/or computer science as a graduation requirement?"
And my answer is yes.

Freshmen: Introduction to CIS
We combined material from A+ and MOUS certifications to provide our
students with a hands on approach to both the hardware and software of a
computer.
* This approach prepares our students for a dual-enrollment community
college class we offer
*******************************************
Sophomore: Introduction to CS
We developed this class to feed into AP Computer Science so it
emphasizes programming in Java. When student desire and time permits we
can include Robotics - also in java.=20
However, to keep kids engaged in this required class we also include
HTML, a brief section on animation, and creating simple games in Visual
Basic.
* This approach prepares students for AP, but it also keeps non-compsci
students engaged.

Jr./Sr: Advanced CIS
This is a high school / community college dual-enrollment class where
our participants can elect to pay the tuition and receive college
credit.
NOTE: we'll be moving this class down to our Freshmen soon and replacing
it with another class having more of a Network+ & Server+ emphasis.
* This approach caps our approach to preparing students for college as
well as equipping them to work while attending college.

We requests permit we offer:
Honors Computers
AP Computer Science
Web Development
