We just deployed a 1 to 1 laptop program at our school for middle and
upper school students. Our school has purchased the laptops so they are
not owned by the students. However, we still allow them to take them
home. Here are my questions. Are we responsible for internet filtering
at home while the student uses our machines? (legally/morally) Does
anyone use filtering software that sits on the client machines? Has
anyone heard of, or is anyone using the 8e6 mobile client for their web
filtering?
